View Full Version : Blogging Engine for the Desktop that Spits HTML files onto an FTP

So, I had this idea...I hear alot about dynamic websites being inefficient for the server, and static html pages being so much better. So why not handle all the tools locally, on the user's machine? All the user has to do is hit update and it uploads the files onto an ftp in the chosen location, preformatting posts to look like blog entries.

HTML templates could be "imported" as styles for the program. Seems like something that could be neat.

Sadly, I don't have the skills to make something like this.

What do you think?
