Owning the Geek Squad. :p Seriously, if you start a company to give tech support to Windows users you stand to make a boatload of money because of the problems with malware and viruses. I know someone that does it on the side and 90% of his customers are people whose computers are filled with malware.

Here's (http://csmonitor.salary.com/) a salary calculator (it only works in US.) Just pick your area, the job that seems interesting, find its pay and that should tell you just how much demand there is for a particular position.

Also, different areas have more demand for certain jobs than others, so it's tough to give an overall picture.

I think one of the hottest tech jobs going is "Hardware Depot Administrator" It pays about $6.50 an hour. Sometimes you even get overtime when they are upgrading routers or something.

From the last study made by c't in Germany I remember the best paid jod was soul eater ... ehm ... IT consulter ;)
