Hi,

I had no issues upgrading on my desktop, albient things not working correctly on initial install.

The problems appear on my laptop, in which I've had NO problems whatsoever -.-

At any rate, just upgraded to 9.10 Karmic 32-bit today, hoping that things would go well...they did not.

when my computer rebooted, it posted, the GRUB 'starting' screen came up...loading....etc. It then displayed the ubuntu logo, white, in the middle of the screen...I then got my 'hdd-0-0 is starting up...', which I always got. Then, this starts flashing repeatedly and the laptop drops to a console login. I can't login because I can only press a key and it registers with the laptop when the screen is visible (only about 1/4 of a second), so I can't tell if I'm typing in my lassowrd correctly or not.

Haven't tried the LiveCD, but does anyone have any suggestions?
