The new getdeb repository

Did everyone hear about the new repository from getdeb.net?

I'm curious. Obviously the benefits to this would be that you would get new versions of programs before the normal Ubuntu users would, but are there risks or other downsides to using this repository?

Its not an official repository, so there are downsides to that. Maybe they won't work as well with ubuntu because they're not officially tested, or maybe there are security issues.
