I downloaded skype deb package from http://medibuntu.org, it asked for "libqt4-dbus 4.5.1 = > "package as dependency... I googled it and finally got it from http://packages.debian.org/it/sid/i386/libqt4-dbus/download here. Then tried to install it ... now it says Error: Breaks exisiting package 'libqt4-script' dependency libqt4-dbus (= 4.5.0-0ubuntu4.2)

What should i do for this !?

what is the differnce b/w them ?

I also have a small doubt... i almost completely upgraded from jaunty to karmic through update manager !
Should i call my system a Jaunty or Karmic?? What exactly is the difference b/w a fresh install and upgradation?

I just learned the difference between upgradation and fresh install from here:
http://superuser.com/questions/28540/is-running-ubuntu-update-manager-roughly-equivalent-to-installing-the-latest-ubun

Its ok...! It means it just upgrades only some part of my system ..... so i should call my system as Just "Jaunty" but not karma !!
Am i right?
