During upgrade by using Adept Manager when I click Finish in upgrade wizard a message appears - Unable to get exclusive lock / This usually means that another package management application ( like apt-get or aptitude ) already running. Please close that application first.
I don't see any other running program other than GNOME PPP. Is there any program running in the background? If there how can I find and stop them?
