Well, look at this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9BnLbv6QYcA)! I don't think it's useful at all IMHO, just see how much time it took the guy to type "T". And all fans are mad about the new "invention". Do I miss something?

It looks very lame and it took the guy FROM APPLE ages to type a lame bit a text which made no sense.

It's a very professional-looking clip, but seriously didn't anyone smell a rat when they saw the "sentence prediction"?

I particularly liked the news ticker story that "study find that horse riding is an expensive form of sitting".

I have to say, though, I wouldn't be all that surprised to see such a device. Some people love the click wheel, or whatever it's called.

Well, seeing as Apple have come out with products such as the Macbook Air and the iMac, it isn't that hard to believe :)

I love it, it's ridiculous and still people will take this satire seriously.
"Everything is just a few hundred clicks away"
"I'll buy almost anything if it's shiny and made by Apple"

Reminds me of the Simpsons mapple episode.

Actually, that might be the one believable piece in the video. My Motorola cell phone tries to do that already if I'm texting. It isn't very good at it though!:)

Because, sadly, it's not ridiculous enough to be impossible in this day and age.

It's like watching the Borat and Bruno movies. For each ridiculous staged scene you see, you just know that someone somewhere is doing something equal or worse... for real.

Take a look at the video - one of the suggested sentences is "The Althusserian scholar gave his copy of Lacan's "Ecrits" to the abortion doctor"!

I loved this when it debuted online, and I still think it's one of the Onion's best pieces. The faux interviews with hardcore Mac enthusiasts are dead-on :D

Dumbest idea I have ever seen. I hate ipod wheel and now apple going to tell me thats faster and more practical to type on... nope! I will out type a wheel user any day without looking at my keys. Only thing it might cut back is arthritis from typing lol :P

It is ridiculous enough, actually. What's ridiculous is some people's tendency to believe something without checking the source.
