I have a theme I would like to use but that theme requires gtk2-ubuntulooks-engine. That engine wants to remove ubuntu-desktop, human-theme, and ubuntu-artwork.
Is there a way around this one?
Thanks

I'm in the same dilemma.. I don't know whether to install it and remove what it wants, or is there a way around it. Because I think it might mess up my OS =/

EDIT:

You can find a explanation to what ubuntu-desktop really is, if you don't already know: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=378140. I'm not sure what will happen if I remove ubuntu-artwork & human-theme. But I guess i can always reinstall that. I'll go ahead and remove it to install the GTK2-ubuntu-engine.
