Since I upgraded to 9.10, Conky's width has changed. It appears to have doubled it's width but I didn't change my script or screen resolution. My Conky script is the standard one found in the following site:

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=6365702

And here's my version:

# UBUNTU-CONKY
# A comprehensive conky script, configured for use on
# Ubuntu / Debian Gnome, without the need for any external scripts.
#
# Based on conky-jc and the default .conkyrc.
# INCLUDES:
# - tail of /var/log/messages
# - netstat shows number of connections from your computer and application/PID making it. Kill spyware!

Hi,

The crux is in the following, had the same issue as you :)

# Minimum size of text area
#minimum_size 250 5
minimum_size 200 0
maximum_width 290 0

Adjust it to your liking.

cheers
