9.10 Preview in Nautilus broken

Hi! The preview for some files like *.avi or *.ico on my fresh installation of Ubuntu 9.10 is broken.
The pics in mp3 files are not shown as well. Other previews
work, for example for *.3GP videos or other
pictures. Also audio files are played. I have all codecs installed. Anybody an idea? Thx!

Deleting ~/.thumbnails helped for the video files.

It didn't work for an *.ico file, that used to be shown
in preview since my first Ubuntu install.

The pics in mp3-files are not shown. Is that a bug or just
not implemented?

So, kind of solved.

I also like to ask some completely off topic questions:
- how do i get support for my native language in chromium?
- how can i sync my mobile address book and calendar with
evolution?
