Hi
I have recently upgraded to ubuntu9.10 from 9.04.

I use dual monitor-HP 25inch(left) and laptop dell A860(right).
I use 25inch screen as the main screen(panels{top and bottom}, desktop folders)

After the upgrade the bottom panel and top panel are being shown on my right screen(laptop).
But the desktop folders are still on the left screen.

Is there any way that i can get the panels to the left screen?
Any help is appreciated.

Hold down the Alt key and drag the panels over to the other monitor...

Works for me on a dual display.

Is there a way to do this automatically?

Or even: Is it possible to activate a panel only when a second monitor is attached? (Automatically too!)

Thanks a lot for that.. I was searching the Internets for doing this.

Thanks for the reply.

Also, is there a way we can have panel in both the screens and they function as separate monitors? At times I feel it awkward to go to another monitor to switch windows I am working on.
