This is a strange problem. When playing KPatience & I get to a stage when the game is lost, I start a new game by abandoning the current game. When I do this KNotify appears in the panel, saying it is loading. After a while this disappears & I do not see it again during the same session. However, if I have Spotify running the music starts to slowdown & become inaudible.
I am using Ubuntu 9.10, but never had this problem in Ubuntu 9.04. Is there anyway to stop KNotify trying to start, as I am using the gnome Desktop & not KDE.
