Hi,
i have ugraded to karmic koala (9.10) aftre upgradation the firefox doesn work. whenever i open firefox a small window pops up with the follwoing msg:
<menupopup id="backForwardMenu"
----^
i tried reinstalling and so on, but didn help.
please help!

hi phillw,
thanks fr ur reply but its so unfortunate for me that i cant do most of them and tried the troubleshooting part but none helped me.
if i try to start through terminal the follwoing error comes
(firefox:2528): Gtk-WARNING **: Whoever translated default:LTR did so wrongly.
any clue?

hi, my problem solved...
i tried,
code:
firefox -safe-mode
and restored all the default settings by clicking all the checkboxed and clicked restart firefox and now its working good.
