F-Spot Problem / Banshee troubles

After the upgrade to Karmic, I'm having some troubles.
I always used F-spot to download photos from my camera. Now after a download, I can't use the camera as I get a message telling me the SD card is full. (It wasn't full before the download) I can format the SD card using the card reader on my laptop, but this is a pain! Any ideas?
As to the Banshee troubles, it will no longer find my iPod. It worked flawlessly before. Any help would be appreciated.
