Hi All,
I just joined .. but have been using Ubuntu for a bit now. However, I've never really ran into any problems until a fresh install of 9.10.
The problem I am experiencing is that I do not get any networking. Wired or Wireless. Tho ifconfig -a shows my adapters.
I cannot connect with either wired or wireless.
I've had this problem before with UStudio8.04.. but what I did was installed Ubuntu 8.04 and then followed some conversion script to get UStudio on there. I decided to do something similar, installed Ubuntu 9.10.. but no networking there as well.. I do get further.. it doesn't connected and I get 169.x.x.x IPs on both wired and wireless solutions.
I have looked around the internet.. and have tried running an update against the CD as a source, but nothing new is loaded.
nm-tools shows wireless routers.
any info would help troubleshoot this?
