Have a laptop that had Windows 7 Professional and Ubuntu 9.04. Booted into Ubuntu today and was told that there is an upgrade to 9.10. Ran the upgrade and accepted all offers to replace files...etc with new ones.

After rebooting, I did not see my Window 7 option on the GRUB menu. Since Win 7 access is my first priority, I booted into the Windows Recovery Environment and ran bootrec.exe /fixmbr in the command prompt, and rebooted.

I can now boot into Windows, but no longer see the GRUB menu.

What do I have to do to fix this - should I download 9.10 ISO and install it fresh onto my Ubuntu partition, or is there an easier way - something that I can do from inside of Windows 7?
