I know gnome-screensaver doesn't let you set your screensaver settings. (I think that's stupid, but that's another topic entirely.)
Can I use xscreensaver instead, or will that mess everything up? How do I make sure that gnome-screensaver and xscreensaver don't fight? What is the best option short of a total transition to Kubuntu?
