hello there!

I'm trying to install the new Ubuntu UNR on my EEE 701 netbook.

However when booting from the created usb install drive the boot process quits pretty soon.
Here is the error:

stdin: error 0

[BusyBox welcome screen ..]
(initramfs) [BusyBox v1.13.3 .... again welcome message]
[usage message of the mount command]

Could not mount /dev/loop1 on /cow

I've als checked the usb-drive for file errors, but none where found.

Hope someone can help me on this,

Jake

Just downloaded and built the USB installer for Netbook remix 9.10, getting the same issue.

I'm going to try downloading 9.04 and trying it. It may just be an issue with the version.

Gave up on downloading 9.04, too slow.
I did however find this thread http://ubuntu-virginia.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1306277
Post #9 did it for me.
Best of luck.
