I am running Ubuntu 9.10 64bit on a DELL notebook. It was upgraded from version 9.04. I am experiencing long delays in the Gnome login when I do a cold login:
cold login: 51 seconds
warm login: 8 seconds
(warm login: when I logout and then login again)
What can I try to reduce the cold login time? Many thanks in advance.
PS. My bootchart is at http://sites.google.com/site/cribari/linux/bootchart.png .
PPS. My .xsession-errors file is attached.
