Hi all,
I have recently upgraded to karmic and i have found out that installing tor is really a big deal in it...

I have followed the instruction on the page http://www.torproject.org/docs/debian.html.en

but i am having trouble in getting the key..

when i enter this command in the terminal
gpg --keyserver keys.gnupg.net --recv 886DDD89

i get this output

gpg: requesting key 886DDD89 from hkp server keys.gnupg.net
gpgkeys: key 886DDD89 not found on keyserver
gpg: no valid OpenPGP data found.
gpg: Total number processed: 0

i am stuck... please help...

type in tor in the search box and folk responded to me and the info works. Make sure you do all the steps in order or u will think it is not working and if you have something installed reinstall it. In other words, do it all over and it works from the directions folk gave me :KS

thanks for your reply...

but i have already downgraded to intrepid and i am having a nice time in the same old environment...

i have decided to wait for the original kamic cd for installation...

an upgrade always messes up things for me...(i mean through the internet)

:p
