Where the main site webmaster?

What's your screen resolution? Mine is 1280*800 and it looks fine.

on my laptop i don't see the bits at the edge but on my 1920x1080 screen I do. On the previous website there was the word "ubuntu" in a slightly darker shade of gray than the background.
