View Full Version : [all variants] 9.10 upgrade: /tmp note cleaned anymore

Hello,

I recenlty upgraded from 9.04 to 9.10 and the directory /tmp is not automatically cleaned anymore.
After some investigation, I found that it was perform by a script called "bootclean", which is not present anymore.

I performed a fresh install in a VM, and noticed that the cleaning is performed at startup (I started from the DVD to check that files are present after shutdown). I could not find any reference to such a cleaning in the /etc of my VM.

Do someone know what trigger this cleaning in 9.10 so I can apply it to my upgraded installation?

PS: I'm using Kubuntu for amd64, but I think it' the same for all the variants

I reinstalled another VM with /tmp mounted on a separate partition, and now the directory is not cleaned anymore. So I guess it's a bug/feature in "mountall".
I should write a bug report...
