I am the keyboard player of a teen, DIY, electronic rock band from washington DC named "Power Pirate"
We are looking for ways to reach a greater online audience.
We have music on iTunes, a website, a myspace, twitter, facebook and a newsletter set up. We just need new ways to reach out to people who may be interested in our music.

We are in a competition with NAMM for the #1 teen band in the USA, and would like to embrace new people on the internet to help us win money for our school music program, a performance at the NAMM conferences in Germany and California.

This is our website.

Maybe post some (good) videos on youtube with good keywords that would come up in the right searches.

EDIT: Ah, I see you've already done that. :)

Give some radio stations a copy and see if they will play it. You should be able to email them.

If you're not against doing music for free and letting people re-interpret and re-use your music, you could always try Jamendo (Jamendo.com)

But a good way to reach people is to find some venues. Add some local bands on Myspace, find out where they're playing near you next. Get to know the owners of said venue, help out a bit.

With bands, you usually want to start small.

A tip of advice though: it's better to build up grassroots-style support and true fans than to do some gimmicky music video on YouTube and become a one-hit wonder. At best, you get remembered for that one song and everybody tries to cover it. At worst, you get labeled "Poser"

Best of luck to you guys.

I was looking around at netlabels.. is the only difference that they are only digital labels?
