guys can u assist me to play FarCry in Ubuntu 9.10.
I hv installed farcry in ma windows OS.. it's working fine with windows.
(my vga driver nVidia 7200GS)
I hv installed the vga driver in Ubuntu..

Don't worry, it's only been a few minutes since your first post, someone will point you in the right direction soon enough ;)
Actually, I might be able to help a bit...
You'll need to first install "Wine" from -> Applications-> Add/Remove Programs. Then follow the steps on the bottom of this (http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=13613) page and it *should* work.
I'm no expert with Wine, so if it doesn't work as intended I recommend asking in the Wine forums

Do you know about Wine?
Linux can't run Windows applications, but by using Wine some will work. You can get information about running Far Cry from the Wine AppDB. See http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=13613
By the way, I'm sure your issue isn't so critical that you can't wait 9 minutes for someone to help you.

since am a new bee to Ubuntu.. am very eager to do some Windows related works in Ubuntu (Running Windows Softs in Ubuntu)
