View Full Version : [ubuntu] gnome-shell: can't find startup apps, how to go back to normal gnome?

I am running gnome-shell and for some reason it can't find the startup applications utility! It was there until there was an update installed this morning.

Since I added gnome-shell to my startup, it automatically boots with it but I want to go back to the regular gnome (default one with 9.10).

So, my question is there a way to start the utility from the console so that I can disactivate gnome-shell?

If you can get a terminal in gnome-shell try:

gnome-session-properties
