Where are the openSUSANS?
In the open SUSE forum for the most part, I imagine.

My name's not SUSAN? :lolflag:
Actually, I don't use openSUSE, but I've fiddled with it in the past and am in the openSUSE forums. Does that count?

Hello!
I use openSUSE (11.2 RC2), so that would technically make me an "openSUSAN" lol

I've tried Opensuse 11.1.
You may want to try openSUSE 11.2 in the next few days, for people who have had issues with Karmic, 11.2 looks to be a good alternative.

OpenSUSAN sounds like a porn-star.

My first favorite distro. 9.3 was perfect, 10.something was very good, 11 sucks. I hope 11.2 to be good as I'm still waiting for a good KDE distro.

I've been trying 11.2 RC 1 and 2 and going to switch to openSUSE after 11.2 is released just to learn something new. The other two computers in the house will still run Ubuntu.
YaST is a bit confusing at first but I'm getting used to it. There are a lot of applications that are installed by default so I have to uninstall a lot of crap I don't want which is annoying. I'd rather start with something more minimal and have to install the stuff I do want.

The Live CD was ok. It seems slower than Ubuntu's in comparison. I'll test a hard drive installation when the stable release is available.
