I have 9.10 on my system now, as an upgrade from 9.04. Due to some small annoyances and the fact that I want to get rid of the Kubuntu and Xubuntu desktop files which currently co-exist, I decided to do a clean install.
I have 3 HDDs:
hda: winXP
hdb: Ubuntu partition, a datafiles partition
hdc: 2 more data partitions
Even though I selected "advanced option" during the installation process, Ubuntu did not present (or recognise) hdb, which I would have selected to write over.
any ideas why I can't simply overwrite the previous Ubuntu partition?
