How do I install a package via apt (apturl) links?

I couldn't figure it out. When I click on an apt link firefox wants me to choose which program to open the link with and there's an apturl choice, I select that but gdebi says "package foo not found". How can I install them? Thanks.

Thanks I figured out that I had to add the repository of the website ( in this case playdeb ) and the system works.
