View Full Version : [ubuntu] Ubuntu 9.10 : users-admin hides all but root.

I did some meddling with my users and groups, and 'users-admin' has now decided to hide all users but root; including all newly created users. I can find all of my accounts in /etc/groups, /etc/passwd, etc. After attempting to fix all possible holes by resetting near defauls, I cannot figure out why this would be the case. Is there some config file that needs to be changed for a reflection to occur in users-admin?

Also, I have given my main account access to sudo but accessing, in example, users-admin, that account still needs to enter a password. Is there any method to get around that?
