I've been using Jaunty for a couple of months and set up Evolution to receive my emails from our Exchange 2003 server via webmail. This worked perfectly.

I upgraded Jaunty to Karmic at the time of the beta release and everything continued to work.

Yesterday I did a complete fresh install of 9.10 imported my backed up settings (from 9.04) and continued to receive and send emails.

This morning when I logged in, I received a number of error messages all relating to not being able to connect to the server. I can however, utilising exactly the same settings connect to webmail via FF and IE (IE runs on XP on a VirtualBox).

I ended up deleting that account and created a new account using IMAP and I have made sure that IMAP on the Exchange Server is running. So I am now receiving my emails via IMAP but I cannot access my list of contacts because Evolution keeps asking me for my password which then fails to authenticate.

So, in a nutshell, I have 2 issues:

- OWA URL is not recognised, and
- My password for contacts fails to authenticate.

Has anyone had these issues and are there any solutions ?

Not to worry, I sorted my problem out. I just downgraded back to 9.04 !!
