Pls, can anyone help me finding the "usb-creator.exe". It is NOT on the 9.10 64bit iso file as stated in https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Installation/FromUSBStick

I need to create a bootable USB stick from a windows environment. I downloaded the CD iso image 9.10 64 bits and burned it to a CD. The usb-creator.exe file is not there...

Thanks for your help!!!

the problems aplies also if you try to use unetbootin

but still no explanation if this is a user (you, me and her rest) error or a ubuntu error (embarasing then)

If you already have Ubuntu installed (9.10) just look in the Administration menu its down near the bottom.

will that work?

Sorry! re read your post and see your running Windows. Can you boot your CD and do it from there? look see.

The 9.10 CDs and DVDs are missing the usb-creator.exe program. To install to a flash drive from a disk image on Windows, use the incredibly easy process described at:
http://www.pendrivelinux.com/create-a-ubuntu-9-10-live-usb-in-windows/

Is this 64bit compatible? Or only 32bit?

It seems like Ubuntu 10.04 Alpha 3 doesn't have the file either!
