More or less - the system is working pretty well. I am using the graphics drivers from ATI (earlier Ubuntu 9.04/AMD and now under 9.10/AMD and they are stable and working pretty well, BUT its pretty boring to see "AMD Unsupported hardware" on the lower right corner over all these months ... and whenever I look at this icon I ask myself, why I accept this ....

I interpret this graphic as: "I know this graphc chipset (otherwise you would not use me), but I do not know the motherboard the chipset in build on - therefore it is 'unsupported hardware'".

So: has anyone an idea how to get rid of this graphic

Thanks for any help ...
