I'm currently running a dual boot system with MS XP and Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron. I want to upgrade to 9.10. My question is "how can i upgrade to the new 9.10, (i've already burnt the CD) and still get to keep all my settings and data?".
It would be a nightmare for me to backup all my stuff and make a new installation...
Please don't mind but i'm new here, so i'll appriciate simpler remidies....;)
PS: You know, its hard to get rid of MS for me, can't find my engineering tools like ProE and ANSYS on linux.... :/
