Today, I installed MySQL and several associated packages. One of them was MySQL documentation and Synaptic reported that it was installed, successfully. However, I cannot find it in any of the menus. I would like for it to be in Applications > Programming with the other MySQL stuff, but it is not. Can anyone tell me how to find and use it?
Thanks,
Tim

May be other ways but this is what I do. Go back into synaptic and find the package you installed and under where it has installed files look for /usr/share/doc/..../html files. To put this in your drop down you go to System > Preferences > Main Menu > Programming, then on the right side click on 'Add Item'. Fill in the boxes! Best way to avoid typos is use FF to open the file and then copy/paste the URL. Where the command box is: firefox <path to index.html>.
