View Full Version : [ubuntu] Dualboot Ubuntu 9.10 w/ WinXP, upgrading to Win7

Currenting dual-booting Ubuntu 9.10 with WinXP 64bit Prof. Want to replace the WinXP with Win 7. Is it as easy as installing over the WinXP petition and the bootloader will pick it up? or will have to edit the bootloader ?

Installing windows will mean you loose grub and will not be able to boot your ubuntu until you have restored the grub bootloader.
