I have installed both the the server and desktop versions of ubuntu 9.04. I believe both prompt you for a user and password for a proxy server during the install. Where is this stored and is it available after the installation is complete.
What would be the proper syntax to run in a terminal to run an apt-get install and include the proxy info on the command line.
