I have a laptop with a Radeon HD Mobility 4570 chipset.
I've read on phoronix that its possible to have full 3d acceleration using the opensource radeonhd drivers the coming fedora(http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=article&item=fedora_r600_3d&num=1).
I've tested it and loved is, 2d compositing appears quicker and 3d works perfectly.
But how can I enable it in ubuntu. according to apt the current radeonhd driver only supports older chipsets
do i have to compile from scratch or is there a repo available?
