View Full Version : [ubuntu] uninstallation of linux mint and formatting help

was a user of linux mint 7 .now ive switched to ubuntu 9.10 .i want to uninstall linux mint and format that drive which is ext3 to ext4 as in my ubuntu 9.10.....kindly help.do not want to get any grub errors.

If you are installing only Ubuntu on the drive then you simply the installer the use the whole disk. It will delete everything else.

but i have files in ma ubuntu 9.10 ext4 partition and i do not want them to get deleted....and furthermore i do not want to reinstall all stuff once again...if using 'use the entire disk' option not delete the files inext4 and wont be a reinstall procss?
