View Full Version : [ubuntu] Ubuntu 9.10 and Moblin Brightness Control

November 5th, 2009, 04:50 PM
I have triple boot with Win XP, Ubuntu 9.10 NBR and Moblin 2.1 on a Samsung n310.

Unfortunately, I have no way of adjusting screen brightness in Ubuntu or Moblin....can anyone help ? I would like the normal Fn+UP/DOWN keys to adjust brightness, as they do in windows, but would settle for ANY solution at the moment as the current brightness is eating into my battery time.

I've tried all the NC10 scripts and other suggestions but to no avail. Then I read somewhere about a brightness control applet....does anyone know where i can get this applet ?

Pretty please....
