I have a ubuntu 9.01 laptop (dual boot with XP). The Live CD doesn't work on this laptop.
When i boot with this cd, it shows grub is loading (I can see that it loading from the CD). After that it shows my existing grub menu for 9.01. so cannot install from the CD (I want to do a fresh install)
When i use the same CD in a different laptop(Same model, T43 laptop with XP), it loads up well and i can see karmic in full action. So the CD is working well
Can i install from the CD after i boot into 9.01. If yes can some one point to me in the right direction.
