I would not recommend upgrading to 9.10 !
I did on my asus eee 900, upgrade went fine (took 4 hours total)
The upgrade manager told me that it would have to restart the computer after upgrading, wich it did not do automaticly for some reason, so I restarted it manualy.
After booting, the desktop background was shown and the screen flashed white once evry 1 sec or so.
Menu lines top and bottom wouldnt load and no key-shortcut worked. Only buttons working was the power switch.
Anyone got any kind of idea or solution to what went wrong?

Release engineering with self-confidence, care only for the money deals with say, Dell, etc., but no regression tests other than the alpha,beta-testers' ones, because any problem should then be discovered...

been there, done that...
