View Full Version : Kde 4.3.3 released.

This thread has two points.

Point 1: KDE 4.3.3 was released yesterday, I Updated last night at bed time and woke up to a smoother running desktop. It just keeps getting better and better. If you haven't added the back-ports I would strongly recommend doing so soon:D

Point 2: I started a thread with KDE in the title. I wonder how many posts I will get before Hoppi chimes in:lolflag:

It released on 3rd and I have been using it since then. It's just a maintenance release and nothing new about it, same as 4.3.2

I too have enabled the backports ppa, but I don't get any updates... :confused:

Well I have no idea when it will be in kubuntu repos, but are you sure the OP is using Kubuntu? Atleast, I am not.

In terminal type

sudo apt-get update

then

sudo apt-get upgrade

In terminal type

sudo apt-get update

then

sudo apt-get upgrade
done, but: I found out that for Jaunty there is no update to 4.3.3 its just for karmic --> just for information

so i'll try the update on the karmic laptop :lolflag:

The difference is in the dates when they are pushed in their repos for users to upgrade from. Like kubuntu's packages arrived today [I'm guessing from what you said..] while I upgraded on 3rd.
