Atheros 5007EG not working

I'm a total noob with Linux, I finaly managed to install it (after 6 hours of intense researches on Google and this forum, it finaly work). My wifi card is an Atheros 5007EG but it is not working under ubuntu. I have read a lot of solutions on this forum, the problem is that the solutions tell me to download apps with ubuntu to solve the problem. But I can't connect to internet when I'm on ubuntu because my wifi card does not work.So I can't download the apps when I'm on ubuntu.

Could someone tell me how I can download the diferent apps on windows, burn them on a CD (I hope my CD reader will work on ubuntu) and then install them on ubuntu to solve the problem ?

Maybe Linux is better, but at least it's not a pain in the *** to make windows work properly
