Ubuntu 9.10 Emblems

With 9.10, the default directories in the home directory like Music, Pictures, etc.. have the emblems in the middle of the directory pictures.

But if i create a directory manually and attach a emblem, the emblem is appearing on the top or bottom of the directory icon.

What can i do so that emblem appear in middle of the directory icon ?

Rightclick the folder, click the folder icon in the properties window, choose your icon from there. It should be in /usr/share/icons/Humanity/places IIRC. Have a look around in /usr/share/icons or ~/.icons anyway.
