How do I setup a Virtual Machine with Virtual Box
1.) The VM must boot using an existing partion of either Ubuntu or Vista
2.) with Virtual Box (of w/ vmware if i must)
3.) Using Grub2 instead of Grub1 or Grub Legacy
There are SEVERAL links that demonstrate how to do this, but the only problem is that I am using Grub2 instead of Grub_1 (legacy)
Trying to use Virtualbox to run Linux inside Vista, or Vista in Linux - whichever is easier. In the End, I'd Like to do them both
-Boot into Vista and Launch the Ubuntu VM using Virtualbox
-Boot into Ubuntu and launch the Vista VM using Virtualbox
Grub_1 uses /boot/grub/menu.lst for configuration and Grub_2 uses /boot/grub/grub.cfg
-also grub2 uses scripts in /etc/grub.d/ to configure "grub.cfg"
*** not looking to use Vmware unless I have to.
