I'm planning on upgrading my current system to 9.10 NBR. I'm using a eepc 900. With Eeebuntu I can hit fn-f2 and my wireless is disabled. The only disables my onboard wireless. The usb wifi dongle stays enabled and works. When I boot to 9.10 on a usb drive this now longer works. When I use fn-f2 to disable wireless it shuts off all wireless devices. I can manually shut down wlan0 with ifconfig but then it's still drawing power. Is there a way to make 9.10 shut off only the onboard wireless?
