upgrade messed up Firefox

I upgraded to Karmic and now Firefox is messed up. Scrolling is eradic and it will sometimes backspace to the previous page.

Can you try this.

1. Close all instances of firefox

2. Open a terminal.

cd .mozilla

mv firefox firefox.old

3. Start firefox again. Is it now working okay?

Sorry for the late post. It seems to have worked. Only time will tell.
