Hello,
I am very new to Ubuntu. I just recently bought parts and put together a file server and decided to give Ubuntu a second try (after my first experience trying to install it on my desktop was unsuccessfully horrible). I was wondering, how can i make a bootable Ubuntu server installation usb in windows 7? I have searched but have only found instructions that require you to have Ubuntu installed... which is kind of dumb considering you're trying to install it in the first place...
Thanks,

-Falven

I need it on a bootable usb...

And dont just link me to https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Installation/FromUSBStick because the ubuntu 9.10 amd64 file does NOT have a usb-creator.exe in it.

Seems there is a problem with the dist. At least i havent found a solution to the same problem, but in my case it was not the server version.

And there is some other threads reporting same problem in different ways

there is no usb-creator.exe on the 9.10 x64 disk and it seams the problems applies also if you try to use unetbootin

But still no explanation if this is a user (you, me and her rest) error or a ubuntu error (embarasing then)

Known Issues
The 9.10 CDs and DVDs are missing the usb-creator.exe program. To install to a flash drive from a disk image on Windows, use the incredibly easy process described at:
