9.10 Broken Touchpad

Recently upgraded my Asus G50vt-V1 from 9.04 to 9.10. Everything went fine except the the laptop touchpad does not work anymore and there is no audio. Thanks for the help!

I had a friend who had a similar problem with his HP laptop. It turned out that the upgrade had not updated grub and it was booting to the wrong kernel. Try checking your menu.lst if you are still on grub legacy for the up to date kernel. If on grub2 do an update-grub.
