I'm installing Ubuntu 9.10 from CD, but the installation dies on second step and it doesn't continue.

Disk: Western Digtal WD2500AAJS SATA
Chipset: AMD 790FX & SB750

Are you using alpha or beta version of Ubuntu?

i'm using the final version! Normal CD

Try using alternative installation method.
